Mother of Six Helps Family Move From Living With Parents To Dream Home

Cindy is a busy stay-at-home mom raising six children. After her family relocated to another state for her husband's new job opportunity, he was later unexpectedly laid off, leaving the family in financial turmoil. She never would have guessed moving in with her parents would lead to her ultimate dream job, dream home and a comfortable six-figure income.

Having had six kids in only seven years, Cindy wanted to lose the weight she had gained during her pregnancies and was ecstatic when she first heard about Isagenix®.

"Having six kids left me feeling very tired and in more of a ‘survival mode,' just doing what I needed to do to get through the day," shares Cindy of Utah. "With Isagenix I lost 12 pounds, 22 inches and went from a size 10 to a 6.* More importantly, I have greater energy and feel more alive. These products have changed my life."

Cindy had watched her parents Don and LaRee experience success with network marketing companies for more than 25 years. She had signed up with many of the companies just to support her parents, but she had never done much with them.

However, after watching her parents experience similar health success with the products, she decided she wanted to share Isagenix because she knew it would help many other people. She also thought the potential of earning some extra income for her family would be a great side benefit and realized she could pick up tips on network marketing from her parents and make the business work around her schedule. With Justin helping her take care of the kids, she worked mostly nights and weekends and often drove hundreds of miles to Salt Lake City for meetings and training events. She and her mother would even bounce babies on their knees while talking on the phone with prospects or conducting three-way calls.

While she kept pushing forward, Cindy saw her parents' business flourish. Within eight weeks of starting their business, they had already reached a six-figure income.** Frustrated that she was not having as much success, Cindy committed to studying her father's techniques so she could propel her own business.

"I watched how my father talked to others and how he signed up nearly every person he called," explains Cindy. "I watched him give meetings and memorized what I heard. I thought he had the Midas touch, but what I eventually ended up learning is that I just needed to believe in myself. He encouraged me and gave me opportunities for growth."

"I was able to work through my fear and hesitation because I truly care about other people," continues Cindy. "I forgot about myself and focused on the people I was helping."

A pivotal point for her was when she attended Celebration and world-renowned author and speaker Jack Canfield likened the business to a safe: successful people simply know the right combination and if you know the combination, it will open for you, too. It became one of the keys that truly helped her believe in herself and feel like she could do it, too.

From there, Cindy's dad encouraged her to host 10 home presentations, saying "It doesn't matter if anyone signs up. All that matters is that you're getting practice." Cindy started co-hosting home parties, teamed up with people who wanted to work and found her niche working with small groups. She took charge and soon became adept at giving home parties. At one point she and 100-Pound Club Member Kim co-hosted 217 events in a year.

After only six months, Justin found a full-time job in Salt Lake City, the family moved out of Cindy's parents' house, and Cindy's business began to grow. Although his time was limited, Justin watched the kids in the evenings while she worked her business. He was a little skeptical of network marketing at first, but pleasantly surprised as the paychecks rolled in week after week.

"He's the math whiz who added up how much we spent on promoting our business and how much we made; the gap kept getting smaller and smaller," shares Cindy.

Once her belief and determination set in, her business skyrocketed. She committed to making it from 2-Star Golden Circle to 5-Star Golden Circle and accomplished it within one year.** Along the way, she consistently communicated her goals with her children so they'd understand why she was on the phone and had to spend some time away from them.

"I sat them down and asked them to think about how great it would be to work together so that dad could be home with us," says Cindy. "This helped them to dream about what could be possible for our family and it involved them so they felt like they were contributing. They took over more responsibilities to help me and it became a family affair."

Her diligence paid off in a number of ways; including her husband being able to retire at age 36 so they both could be involved with their kids' sports teams and after school activities. He also attends corporate events with her, and together, their multiple six-figure income has given the family the opportunity to travel, take care of the cost of extracurricular activities for all six children, plus buy Justin his dream car (a Porsche Boxter) and their dream home.

Now Isagenix Millionaires, she and Justin have accomplished their goals and they’re focusing on duplicating their success with other members of their team so they too can experience success in their families.

Cindy says her secret to success is best summed up in one of her favorite quotes: "Risk more than others think is safe. Care more than others think is wise. Dream more than others think is practical. Expect more than others think is possible."
